We The Movement

"We The Movement" is dedicated to forging a society where equality, liberty, and justice aren't just ideals but lived realities. We are a beacon for those who believe the earth's bounty should benefit all, not just a privileged few. Our mission is to dismantle the barriers of inequity and to construct a world where freedom is bound by respect for others, opportunities are equally accessible, and dialogue is open and free-flowing.

We stand at the vanguard of progress, embracing the technological dawn of the new age while fiercely advocating for a direct-public democracy that places decision-making power back into the hands of the people. We pledge to continually evolve, driven by the spirit of conversation and the unwavering belief in a future sculpted by the many, not dictated by the few.

Join us in this fight for a fairer world. Together, we can shape an era of abundance and innovation, an era where justice prevails and freedom rings true. Our movement is not just a call to arms—it's a call to hearts and minds united by the shared vision of a world that cherishes and uplifts every individual. It's not a journey to the finish line of history but a relentless pursuit of a better, more humane world for us all.

Our Values

If you are interested in joining our movement, it's important that you understand our values. I'll skip the fancy words about 'trancedence' and won't bore you with a history lesson. Instead, let's get straight to the point and the core of our movement.

The movement can be defined with the following 5 core values:

  • Equality - The fruits of the earth should benefit the many, not the few.

If we divided the world in half, and gave half to 1% and the other to 99%, you'd bet people would be angry. This has been done already, hidden behind the veil of wealth and corporations. Capitalism, and the inequality that it brings, is our enemy. When we choose and fight a battle, we are fighting for what is rightfully ours. We are fighting for the fruits of our labour, the fruits of the earth, and for the fruits of our ingenuity. We are fighting for the fruits of our collective efforts. We are fighting for our future. This is not a social movement. Nor is it a political movement. It is a movement of the people, taking back what is rightfully ours.

  • Liberty - Everyone should be free to do what they want, as long as it doesn't harm others.

Our society is divided. Rather than finding out what we do agree on, we are driven to argue about the small things we don't. I fact, odds are, this simple core value can become a point of contention. What justifies harm? What is harm? What is freedom? What is liberty? These are all questions that we must answer together. We must find common ground. At the moment, those choices are made for us. We are at a point in time where we can communicate face-to-face with someone on the other side of the world, and yet we still have little input in the decisions that affect our lives. We must take back control of our lives, and our society. We must take back control of our future. "We The" supports the idea of a direct-public democracy, where the people have a direct say in the decisions that affect them. We support the idea of a society where everyone is free to do what they want, as long as it doesn't harm others. And it's up to us to decide what that means.

  • Justice - A just world is a world where all have equal oppurtunity to pursue their passions.

We are on the dawn of a new age. Large language models that can teach, speak, and write are becoming more and more powerful. 3D printers capable of building entire apartment complexes are operational. We are entering the age of automation, where the fruits of our labour are no longer tied to the hours we work. We are on the verge of a new age of abundance, where the fruits of the earth are no longer tied to the whims of the few. We are on the verge of a new age of freedom and justice, where the fruits of our ingenuity are no longer tied to the impluses of the powerful and our collective efforts are no longer tied to the needs of the greedy. The other option is to give this new age to the few rich and powerful that already control our lives. It's up to us to change the course.

  • Conversation - Everyone should be free to express their opinions and ideas, and we should all be open to listening to others.

The only thing that everyone will ever agree on, is that nobody will ever agree on anything. Talk about a paradox. Our movement wants to change the world. We believe capitalism is destructive, and accept that all alternatives to it thus far have failed. What we don't accept, however, is the mentality that we can't do better. We can do better. We must do better. We must find a solution that works for the many, not the few. For the people, not the corporations. For the future, not the past. We find solutions by talking to each other, listening to each other, and working together to find common ground. Listening includes being open to new ideas, and by being open to change. We believe in We, not I. Us, not them. You, not me. We are all in this together.

  • Progress - It's make believe to think that we have reached the end of history. We must always strive to improve our society.

Nobody looks for a washing machine from 1991. Nobody looks for a phone from 2001. Nobody who works 8 hours wants to go back to 12 hour work days, and nobody who has lived for themselves wants to go back to servitude. Progress is inevitable. We can either choose to embrace it, or we can choose to fight it. Fight for the few, or fight for the many. Fight for the rich, or the poor. We have what we have today because of progress. We should never stop moving forward. Our movement is about fighting for the human race, and for the future of humanity. We will never stop fighting for progress.
